Unfortunately the time has come to sell my E36 325i drifter. I essentially learnt to drift in this car, throughout my time with the car it has been reliable and very capable. Only Selling as moving into an S body and don't have room to keep it otherwise it would be staying for good ! Spec : 2.5 iron block (150k) Induction kit with cold air feed 12" high power cooling fan on switch in car Ta Technix coilovers E46 bottom arms with new bushes Z3 steering rack 4mm rack spacers Poly bushed trailing arms Corbra Monaco bucket seat TRS Harness Hydro handbrake Driftworks braided hydro lines HEL braided brake lines with 5.1 fluid Solid engine mounts Doubled up rear anti roll bar Battery relocated to behind drivers seat Deep dish steering wheel M3lights and front bumper iPod aux head unit It has had replaced in the last 200miles : Aux belt Radiator (old one looked a little worse for wear) Control arm bushes Rear trailing arm bushes New top mounts front and rear New windscreen New passenger window motor Brake fluid flush and braided lines. New cam cover gasket E34 solid engine mounts Car is MOT'd until November and taxed til the new year. The car has a few battle scars and the odd spot of rust but runs really well and skids really well. Will do Santa pod big track and most of Lydden hill. Jacking points are pretty rotten underneath but as with all e36's you have the external sill jacking points which are all spot on. Rear arches have been rolled badly so if picky you could slap some filler on them. . Mileage on these engines is meaningless aslong as they're kept cool like this one they last for ever ! Only other fault I can think of is the power steering lines leak a little and drip fluid now and again, easy fix and common e36 problem. Never rectified as never bothered me. I'd like £1450 but open to offers. It Will come a with a few skid wheels but also have a set of E34 BBS, 2 with brand new Nankang NS2's and other 2 have near new tyres on them, want £120 for them. I also have an M3 gearbox for the car should you want to do an M3 conversion or upgrade the box, that is also available for £150. Cheers. Please PM me with any queries Car is located in Denham, Bucks. Here's a video of the car at pod : Pictures and other details are found here in my build thread : http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-car-projects-builds/200077-e36-325i-first-drifter.html
Bump up Open to offers peeps. Proper suspension set up on this, 0 camber on rear 3 degrees of toe out on the front the car is a joy to slide.
3• toe out on the front!!!?! Seems a bit much. How did you combat the track rods being too short when you put 46 arms on? Cheers.
I believe they're E90 track rod ends. 2-3deg toe out seems to be the going set up on an E36 from what I've read up on. Regardless it drifts and handles so so well that even if it was not technically correct I wouldn't advise changing anything !
something must be wrong there mate! 3 degrees is loads! free bump, this car is good fun and skids pretty darn well!
Can't find alignment paper work. So cannot confirm I may have made a mistake from memory. However as Buk says it skids really well, Open to offers.
Not spamming your thread bud just trying to advise on the toe issue. I run 15 mins toe out each side on the front of my 36 which equates to half a degree combined for the front.36 tracking probably only has around a degree and a half each side to work with. Never the less, yours is a good car for the money so goes
