Hi all, need some technical advise on roll cage, got a pipe/tube bender and pretty handy with the welder but my question is what OD roll cage tubing and thickness should i use? 1.5, 1.75? CDS is going to be the cheapest option and bare in mind im not planning on competing any time soon just for my own peace of mind, dont need it to be FIA or MSA spec just want something to protect me just in case... min 6 point with twin door bars and rough estimate on the materials if anyone done it them self, also is 4 gussets enough on A and B pillars or will need some more, many thanks in advance

Remember that cage is your safety and others. Build it properly. Any changes in future are to hard, you don't want to cut it out later. I build my cage according to Polish rules and regulations witch are based on FIA rules. I chose diameter 45mm and 2,5mm thick (1,75''x0,095'').
