I have a 2004 318ci coupe E46 and want to swap a M54 in it. I will be buying a running and driving car for a donor so i wondered if a drivetrain from a wagon or sedan is the same as a coupe one. Any other helpful info is also welcome.
If it helps, I swapped an engine, drivetrain and everything else from a 330d touring to my 318ci. Everything was pretty much 1:1 in fitment, even the exhaust.
