Hello all, Just gauging interest here... My friends mum has a grey E46 323i sat in her driveway gathering dust as she works away a lot. It's got a dent in the bonnet, a smashed wing mirror but the rest (outside and in) is in good condition. Apparently it needs a new AFM but everything else works spot on and has recently had new brakes. What sort of price would people be interested in for a car like this? I'm not sure how much tax/mot it's got and it would need to be collected from North Wales (Bangor). Perfect cheap base car to start skidding for someone...
It has a few months tax and MOT. £550ono takes it Pics on request! I'd have it myself for skids but I simply don't have the time to chop the springs and weld the diff (which is all it'll need to go sideways).
I shall get some snaps taken of it tonight (if there's enough light when I get back from work). If not, will take some tomorrow and get them posted asap.
A bit more info: It's a 2000 323i SE. It apparently needs a new AFM as it's using a bit more fuel than normal. Everything else works OK. Collection from Bangor North Wales only. I'm getting the log book later so will put any relevant info in here. I believe it has around a months tax and a bit more MOT but will check... Offer over £500 takes it.
Just got the papers for the car. MOT runs out tomorrow and the tax runs out in February... Mileage is under 95K!!!
these things skid really really well, even on an open diff! ive never slid anything like it, my mates bog standard 318 coupe used to be effortless in the wet
