Ok....Right then! Time for the cage,so loaded the old girl up and set off to Xworks in Essex, 7 weeks later i get it back,big problem as it only gave me a few weeks to finish it before the BDC started,BUGGER. I realized that i could nver get it done so 2010 BDC was out of the window! Anyway here is the cage that i am vrey happy with Then me paint it
Engine piped up and ready for fire up as soon as the wiring is done! Power fc pluged in and ready to be secured to the kick pannel. no intercooler as yet as the local pikeys done a bit of looting in my yard and nicked all the ally bits out of my box of tricks also taking 20 of my wheels!!!!! f kin scum! Bought so more wheels off Mr Lappage A set of 4 Mocked up a dash.Decided to go with an S14 one,All mounts bolted up. I cut some ally plate and fitted it to the dash for switches gages Etc....Also cut a hole for the R34 gage holder.
OK. so rear subframe. Burnt out and knocked out old bushes then gave it a coat of paint and got the bushes out of the frezzer and poped them in!
OK! Bit of an up date,wey hey, Got battery box and battery. Going to fix it behind pasinger set once seat is fitted.keep the weight low in the car. Got fuel tank,finished of ally boot floor and fire wall bulkhead,so can get on with instaling fuel system swirl pot 2ltr,to stop the fuel starvation on those long sweepers. Put tank and pot in place. Started fitting hydro Drivers seat fitted Thats it for a bit waiting for o44 pump,and fuel lines p clips etc..... Any one know whats the best low presure pump to use from the tank to the swirl pot????? Manty thanks,Darren
