Hi guys, I want to fit an S13 rear axle setup to my 1978 TA40 Carina.

What's the best way to do this?

    I've got 2 options:
Modify the rear of the Carina to fit the subframe and make shock towers
fit rear floor/turrets of S13 to Carina to have everything subframe related fit easily :)

    Your thoughts?

i would personally just fabricate new. as it will be easier that trying to get the two different floor pans to meet up.. i think i would just use tube with the ends capped off for the new shock towers.

    will it actually fit?
is the width/wheel base good? etc..

I've cut out the rear floor of the S13 (just around the bolts that hold the subframe) just in case. The Carina also has the rear rising chassis rails, so should be somewhat close. And with the floorpan sitting next to the carina it makes measuring a lot easier :)
