just brought 4 viton check valves to replace the standard 1's and a shit load of silicone to refresh all the hoses, also doin the vac simplification mod next week.

also gonna do me an oil change and fit my new oil temp gauge and aircon eliminator belt

Getting their now Thomas, the Rex really is looking the buisness now, I'm stuck to this thread like glue at the minute, glad to see that it's going to the pro's, your thank yourself later though! :) i'll make a sig involving your car soon enough, as i see your current sig isn't your actual Rex (or am i wrong?) either way, it bypasses my teenage years.

If you do go down Hydro route ? get the braided lines aswell and then fitting is just a case of screwing in the new fittings, and making up new fronts from cooper. i did mine in about an hour ( i did ditch abs) which gives you alot more confidence in them !

I proper abuse my 7 and it aint gone pop yet !!!

hey guys, um magic i threw the abs lol, its fooking easy to plumb in with out abs, just need a couple of t-pices and your sorted, il take a few pics of mine so you can have a look, very easy to do,

deffo get the braided lines, made fitting easy, and mine came with the kit i think, cant remember,

please please please get a decent handbrake, all the people ive fitted the cheap ones for have ended up having tobuy the willwood cylinder anyway, so just do it to begin with lol,

shes looking good mate, just read through post, was going to say about the pips in the vacumn lines.

but if you wanna know anything please just give me a shout, il pm my number to you both :)

    Cheers for the PM Phil,

Ive got a cheap remote cylinder for the beamer... but i can imagine it breaking now lol...:(

    Hydro,

Im guessing you can just take out the abs relay? and then just run a pipe from the master cylinder inside the car and then to the T-piece at the back where it all splits ?

or is that just too simple and daft?

    Tom,

im liking your new dash mod. im sure you'll end up with alot more switches ! did you have to screw that plastic plate into the dash?

ye mate, i "borrowed" some metal plate from work and drilled a few holes lol

then just some screws in the dash

i think after a while i will pull the car off the road and just use it for drifting, so to be honest a few holes here and there dont matter lol:smash:

i know what you mean matey, the missuz was talking bout getting a flat soon and then she decided to go to uni so i have about 3 years of financial freedom hahaha

the sandwich plate is for my oil pressure and temp gauges, i got the spacers from rhd japan, they are uras ones and are the biggest ones i can fit on standard steering arms i think, did order some uras arms but they were gonna take 4 weeks to arrive, so i just got the spacers

    lots of work to do:smash:

going to wembley today tho so i start again on monday
