Hey Everyone, I'm new to the drifting scene, I really want to get into it and I'm not too sure what car is best for a Beginner. I've been looking around and from what I have found that E36 328i and 350z and also 200sx are really good first drift cars but I'm not sure on the reliability of them and which one performs the best with minimal mods done to the engine. My budget is about 7000-10000 AUD. If anyone has any car suggestion/advice that could help me that would be great.

Thanks, Would you say that a MX5 is a good car to also do as a project car as I was hoping to build this car with my dad. If so what model MX5 would you say is the best to Drift? I also did a little bit more research and found that the older Corollas can make good drift cars, BMW E30/34 and also RX-7 FCs, But the only downside to the FC is the cost to maintain the engine.
