Aye, at RS Central Day :)

    Today's tinkering...

Not a major update, but big enough impact on the car. PAS system been leaking for a while so did something about it. Fitted my spare pump on, new belt and had a local engineering firm knock me up a roughly identical hose to the other Ford one with the correct fixed thread on one end to screw the Aeroquip into. Nice and neat :)

Sorting new coilovers out and it's then the countdown to Gatebil :)

New coilovers were on the cards since day one really, but unfortunately other things kinda got in the way. So bought these off a lad on PF which have never been fitted to another car. Winner! Mine have seen better days really and are showing their age through my spine

That's it, I'm as happy as I'm ever going to be with it now, don't want to do much else to it except maintain it and keep it forever  Just waiting on a carbon accel. pedal off Raj to match the other 2 and to trim a bit of the back floor, but it's pretty much done.

Fitted my new coilovers earlier and did a bit of grinding under the arches on some minor surface rust patches. Feels amazing on fresh shocks :)

    Off with the old...

    On with the new...

Ass end needs droping a bit though and the car needs a right good wash...

Dan kindly found some time to send me a disc with all the pics that Gez Hughes took, so many thanks for that fella ;) Here's some choice examples, although the car doesn't look much like this since the last few weeks

I think he means this whole project thread on this DRIFT website is basically you just cleaning the car up.

I can see what he is getting at.

I see, I'm assuming a general thread about the car without drifting pics. Well, unfortunately, I'm too busy driving it to take pics on track

So you're saying you've done track stuff and drifting, but magically nobody has taken single pic of it despite it being the most likely car to be photographed, and you've never mentioned it? Right.

What's not to believe? Look at the car, do you think I just nip to the local shops in it?! Come on, get real!

Actually yes. Further enhanced by the pictures of you doing a wheel spin.

Whatever man that's awesome on passionford on here people expect cars to be used, hard.

What is with the new trend of " you dont have pictures of you drifting on track so you obviously dont drive it hard"?!

I would understand the response if the chap was suggesting he is a drift god blah blah but as I read it, he has a cool, different car to the norm that looks like it would be allot of fun. It makes a nice change from reading about S-bodies with bolt on bits being donutted around some cones.

Cool car, bet it is awesome fun around the proper lanes in North Wales..

+1 on Ed, there are way more douche bags one here with pointless threads or filled with cars that werent drifted / pictured drifting/ yet, this car is atleast unique.

Or if it was a "VIP" Aristo that just does laps of town every Saturday night.

It's a cool, different car. Stop being douches.

*Properly shit burnout though, launch in 2nd and flatshift to 3rd next time!
