It's in all the videos rocking out on track, and won the Breisladd comp too. Oh, hang on...

He went, drove there n back too, but don't think any drifting happened from what I was told. Not sure if it went on track at all.

Yep I saw it in the pits myself.

Never saw it on track personally though.

Plus it kinda fits with the Gatebil mindset. Normal car, batshit engine transfer.

Hi guys, yeah Gatebil was amazing. All went to plan except for the Cossie paranoia. Drove the car all the way there and back, did a pants job of the drag race  and tracked it for about 30 mins in total on the Saturday...otherwise I was very drunk most of the time with me Norwegian mates. Almost got pushed to the general camping area though because the typical leaking oil on a Ford was threatening their precious tarmac because I forgot to put the blue sheet down after coming off track on Saturday :)
At the end of the day, I was out to prove Cossie's can be reliable and it was, but I wasn't prepared to brake the car and be stranded or wait for recovery and end up home days later. Personally, being the ONLY Brit there with his car is shocking enough, so bring on the Cochyn bashing crew, I couldn't give a rats ass...I'm sure you did much better...oh wait no, you didn't have enough balls to do it ;) Had fun racing me mate Romain though and his WRC spec road Escort with 700bhp, proper handed me my ass as expected  But all in good fun ;)

I'm at Time Attack next weekend at Anglesey, but on track on the Friday with the MLR groups day. So gonna go hunt down sme Evo's

Not by a long shot tbh mate.

Cars driven from England to there this year that I can remember are Julian Smith in the Blitz R34, the red R34, the 2x (one black one white) R34 4doors, the Prodrift S15, Soarer, and S13, the Japspeed Impreza, and a few more no doubt.
And Darren Macs AE86 from Ireland (which passed thru the UK).

Just flicked through this, properly cool, love the first pic where it just looks like a stock Focus on a set of wheels and then the YB sticks it's head out haha :D At least you had fun at Gatebil whatever happened man.

Oh aye, deffo had fun, even the random walk on Saturday morning was pretty cool...no idea where I was!

As for Brits being there, my point is, drift teams don't really qualify since they normally go most years and have enough money to push that far. Irish boy Darren and the Japspeed lads were a great bunch, but some were already on the Monster Road to Gatebil tour through big tracks in Europe. Still didn't see average joe's taking their cars, that puts my point across nicely ;)

How is driving a Focus over different to driving a Skyline over?

Come on lads give the guy a break, Its a cool car which I like reading about and although I would like to see drifts shots , I'm not bothered. Also I can completely sympathise in giving a car an easier time if your drive home is from Gatebil having had a break down in Germany on the way home from the ring and spending two shitty days in the middle of Germany waiting for it to be repaired (no recovery).

Didn't see anyone driving a Skyline there with British plates until they got on track, trailer queens ;)

Nobodys seen you drift either, but according to you that doesnt mean it hasnt happened ;)

    Either way, 2 things...

Firstly, loads of em drove there, beasted up the track and a few others in Europe on the way, and drove back...

Secondly, I'd much rather trailer a car there, use it hard and have fun, then trailer it back, rather than a god awful long uncomfortable journey all the way there n back in the car and then be scared to use it hard on track. Total waste of time/effort/money taking a car to Gatebil and back to not use it properly.
In fact, if someone has use of a trailer, who in their right mind wouldnt use it?

Trailer queens are cars that never get used hard.

Did you go on track hunting down some Evos today then?

MK3 Supra Turbo 3.73.1 diff. Prepped and painted, ready for Mark's kit to arrive so I can fit it. Good timing too, a lot of play in my standard 7.5

Also my top mounts that Mark's making (exactly like these). So along with my adjustable TCA's, it's all good ;)

Didn't like the brake air ducting I did on the other grill, so bought a matching honeycomb grill and 2 ramp pipes. But had to trim them down to shape. Look great, a lot more subtle :top:

Mines sitting pretty at top of the drive, but can't go anywhere because I need 2 new exhaust bushes

Can't thank Mark @ MK Motorsports enough for all his hard work in developing this kit. Amazing craftsmanship and beyond helpful with any issues that needed resolving. Legend! :)
