So, here we have my cracking little Ford Puma 1.7. The car was recently taken as a PX and is now no longer required. It benefits from low mileage, full service history and is generally in very good condition especially bearing in mind that it is nearly 17 years old! Being the sought after 1.7, it has 125bhp when new and honestly does not feel as though it has lost many, probably due to it's great service history! Mechanically the car is brilliant. The bodywork is generally very good, however there appears to be some rust repairs that have taken place and the paint match isn't exact and is starting to bubble slightly. Saying that, it's still got much longer before it becomes a problem. There's a big Puma decal down the driver's side which will come off but it's not bothered me, and there are some aftermarket daytime running lights which don't work, again, I haven't removed them as they are no bother. Price is tricky as its a very good example, the mileage is low and it has been well maintained, however the bodywork isn't perfect so really, I'd like £650 ovno! Back up for sale! Apparently there's a pin-hole in the rear brake line (the guy called me and tried to get me to pay £300 for it, the part can be bought and fitted for less than £60 so I'll be doing that).
Thank you mate. Happy to take offers on it as well, I'm not gonna use it as got a company car now. I wasn't able to get it through the workshop on Monday in the end as I was working away but it'll be going through in the next week or so, so will be hot to trot!
