If anyones looking for a 1jz to bmw gearbox I have one. I bought this from that ebay guy from Cambridge for £180 but never got to fit it. If you want to make it I would take £135 collected. Comes with all the bolts he supplied. My advise check before you buy may require modification, But I don't know. Might of had it the wrong way round in the picture.
when I bought this I was told your stock flywheel and stock clutch should fit the 1JZ. I don't think anything else is needed. Content for sale is 1JZ to BMW Adaptor Complete nut and bolt Basic everything the guy sold me.
Heres a picture of it bolted correctly Please note only a couple of fixing points are left unused. you can see this from the plate
I have a ZF gearbox from M52 engine that is what I'm using in the picture. I think any gearbox fit m52 would work, I guess that's what he's saying. Flywheel and clutch are from BMW m52. I have posted a picture to show how it fits on the ZF gearbox
I have no idea the ebay seller/the guy who made these hasn't stated this to me. It's a good question to ask the guy Cssspeedshop@hotmail.com. I've never had the gearbox and engine together so i wouldn't know. ABC clutches say to use 2jz starter for the kit they sell because the housing of the starters different it might be the same case for this. This is not from ABC clutches to clear confusion. However this kit may or will require some modification. This is the ebay listing picture of the adaptor fitted with two half's together but it's the turbo side so it doesn't show the starter.
You probably get this to work for less than ABC-clutch kit setup. Which is around £1712.18 If you use maybe 1jz clutch, flywheel and a custom fiction disc? (28mm Diameter 10 spline) this way might work. then possibly make sleeve for a wide bearing. For the spline to fully engage.
