Glass protection welding

    hi all what’s the best thing to use to protect glass when welding and grinding splats are bound to go over the glass.

    Damp cloth/towel or something?

    or find something suitably large to place between your work area and the car (if possible)

    I usually use an old rubber bottomed rug or something similar, the rubber stops it from sliding around and its thick enough to srop Sparks/weld splatter

    Cardboard works well use it at work while welding
