Goo around seams

    HI

    I'm wanting to stich weld around the suspension struts an various other seams in the car, but they are all covered with that thich glue type stuff to stop rust.

    Is there any chemical to remove it or is it just a case of a scraping it off, possibly with a bit of heat?

    heat and a scraper is the only real way! it sucks

    then you have to re seam sealer it
