Saxo. I lol'd a lot!
see imo i dont think something like a 2ltr twin cam sierra is unrealistic. i would start looking there myself.
I have an E36 325i - its perfect. Bounces off the limiter all night long and doesn't give me any problems....
Why is the Saxo funny Make very capable drift cars...
i wouldnt be able to afford a bmw i doubt
far from perfect, even at 20 id imagine the insurance to be stupid on a 325i
you need to look at 2.0ltr and less to start with
if it were me i personally would just either bide my time until i can insure something ( you can still be around the scene )
or buy a cheap but efficient drift slag and trailer it to events
or just pay outta my arse for insurance and more than likely have a smack in it on the road while trying to have a slide
yea i reckon i will get a cheap front wheel drive and then just watch events etc
excatly mate, nothing from stopping you being at events and practice days... just walk up to a randomer and ask to jump in for a few laps... they might say yeah they might say no... worth an ask
i would say yeah, you seem like a good enough geeza
most people as the drift days are nice blokes, just dont try and talk the talk cause you will look like an idiot just be you lol
once youve done that and your gagging to have a go for yourself, and once you can finally afford the stupidly priced insurance...go get a car and smoke as many tyres as possible!
e36 316. welded cant go wrong. You could pick one up for about £800 with t & t
be lucky to spin up first gear in that lol!!
dude just get an s13 there actually cheaper than you would think to insure when i passed my test you just need to ring around companys use owners club discounts ect ect just to get costs down i found my r33 skyline 800 a year cheaper to insure than my c2 vts daily
i actually have the c2 on trade policy and use my mr2 turbo to build more no claims as the c2 with its tiny 1.6 gutless engine is still rediculous to insure
well im thinking an s13 for a first car wouldnt be dangerous
Mx5's can buy cheap and insurance is cheap and they can take some beating but not the best on fuel although very good fun to drive
i'm in the same position mate
looking around for a first car, thank god my parents have agreed to insure it on their name and split that bill with me.
well here in belgium quite alot of people use bmw's 320,325's to drift and some older opel/vauxhals to since those are cheap to insure
hello i like my s12 for drifting
I like your mum she drifts well
anything rwd but stick the the basics, 325 BMWs, Nissan 200sx's, volvos 340 etc + basic drift mods cut springs welded diff all cheap and plenty of fun
Change gear man!
just past your test... s14a 18 one years ncb ... 8k,
Get a rwd saxo or something, or a old e30 ect
any lil thing wit two seat, mx5 1.6 maybe?
Volvo great learner drifter...Cheap insurance, ok on fuel...great in the rain...
As it happens I have one for sale..
