GT3071r bolt on kit SR20

    Gauging interest in my kit as I fancy a GTX top mount kit. If it doesn't sell I'll just put it back on my car when my engine is built.

    Awesome turbo, pulls SO hard all the way to 8000rpm and made 430hp at 1.5bar on my stock engine.

    Turbo has play but doesn't smoke or make any strange noises. Little tiny bit of compressor fin damage but nothing serious.

    Comes with Japspeed manifold and brand new T25 flange gasket, comes with Elbow and a custom 3" downpipe which fits both S14 and S14a as it deletes the decat section and joins the mid section which cost me £260 alone. Also includes adjustable actuator.

    Can supply the turbo lines and red 3" samco inlet pipe for extra.

    This a genuine garrett 3071? What rpm did you make full boost?

    Yea its genuine mate

    Full boost was around 4k and my map wasn't very good.

    Just a quick one. What cams and springs did you have to get that sort of power and RPM.

    Bone stock mate, not even rocker stoppers. Stock headgasket and bolts completely unopened engine

    And you revved it to 8k!!! Brave man lol.
    It is interesting though as we literally can't get any more than 380bhp from an SR because any more boost and the power dies a death really quickly. Suspected valve float but not sure. Any more than a bar boost and it kills the power dead after 6k. But we have read so many others who haven't had this issue.

    Yea mate I cant remember who mapped it now as it was in the previous owners hands.

    This used to make power way after 6, you really couldn't feel it drop off.
