Hi everyone I am wanting some info/help in building my next project car!! I do have several bmw's, but what I'm wanting to do is take one of my E36's, which is by the way a 318is coupe with the 1896cc petrol engine in it and swap that engine with one from one of my E46's, a 330i saloon. Both of these are manual cars and both at the moment ae complete cars! The E36 that I want to build is going to be used as a drift car and will never be put on the road, so things such as abs etc won't be a problem as I wouldn't be having abs!! So does anyone on here know what's needed for me to do this conversion? Many thanks Mick
It will be a fairly straight forward swap Google is your friend it's been done loads before search for some build threads that's is also plenty of bmw specific forums that have heaps of info on them. The e30 zone may be of some use although not specific to your car is has a wiki section detailing how to do engine swaps and what bits you need
