    So having a nightmare with my 1997 200sx 14a.
For a few weeks now, it's been occasionally cutting out when accelerating, usually a low revs, not in boost. It only lasts around a second and then it will be completely normal
Driving back from Silverstone yesterday, traveling at 70 on the motorway and it tried to stutter and cut out. This was unusual as we were traveling at speed which hadn't happened before.
Pulled into the services to have a bit of check round, all seemed well so set off again and as I did, the car lost all power. Rev counter flickered around like crazy and there was some very unsettling noises coming from the relay/fuse box under the dash. The car will just turn over now. I'm getting fuel so thinking an ignition related electrical fault??

    Please help!!!

    Car is a 1997 s14a.
    Stage 1 Hdev chip
    HKS power flow exhaust
    Apexi intake
    Walbro fuel pump
    Manual boost controller

Throw a fresh battery in/charge your current one and see if it'll run

Then check voltage. My bet is the alternator has died

Have you checked the main engine fuse? Don’t know exactly what it’s called but it’s 100amp you’ve just gotta pop the top off it
