Holset hy35w big power turbo. Smaller 10cm3 ex housing

    I have changed my turbo to the hx30. This turbo when fitted to my sr pulled strong but later in the Rev range.

    It has the smaller 10cm3 exhaust housing rather than the standard 12cm3. With 2.5 v band. And t3 to manifold.

    The turbo started smoking under braking and is showing excessive side to side play but no in and out. Imo this is in need of new seals and will be ready to make serious power again.

    Price is £320 plus postage to UK

    Has the compressor wheel came into contact with the housing at all?

    I'll take close up pics later. If I remember correctly it has very slightly on one point. Was still boosting strong before removal
