    Thats pretty low :wack:

You can still go lower, wind the preload off the spring, so all the collars sit together.
Your tyres are killing it too.

Retarded wheels?! Definitely a posing car!!

Think about it, if you lower the bottom spring perch, the damper compresses before the spring supports the weight of the car - lower ride height.

You could remove a collar for the show to get it low, just be careful you dont bottom anything out.

How the fuck is this a posing car? Hardly :/ It drifted no problem before hand, Its been drifted alot more than a majority of "quote un quote" drift ready cars on these boards, not to mention most people i know with "drift cars".

The reason im not lowering it more before Crail is because the height is fine for the surface, however when im driving 600+ miles south for a weekend party then 600 back im not too concerned about 'performance'

Thanks for your help non the less though.

Its hard to see things like that on the internet Kam. Iv already had all the hassle / insults of me being a poser on here before, dont really like to see it coming from the people i ask for help from; if you know what I mean is all. Didnt mean harm by it :)

Cheers tho bro. Fully understand what you mean now in terms of adjustment.

In all fairness, its purple, the rear window is covered with stickers and you have a bus handle hanging from the back of it. You can't expect no banter?!

Anyway... thats for another section, if you need anymore help, let me know :)

Not sure what you mean, but we can do full spares for any part of the coilovers.

fucking hell mint, i just measured my sills and they're the same height as yours, why the hell do you want to go lower , i consider mine to be at a height that looks baller as fuck but still retains most driveability, my mk2 was slightly lower at first but it made me want to kill myself on any roads that were even slightly bumpy, and after having to do 10mph for 5 miles on a country road cos it was scraping smacking and bouncing everywhere thats when i raised it 5mm and went with a 50 profile, im running the same height now on my mk1

    its this low

Something's definitely wrong there. I had the DW shocks on mine and it sat lower than that with about an inch between the cup retainer and the spring perch.

Are you sure you've got the right spring in there? Don't know if there's a difference between the CS1 springs I had (one of the first sets) and the newer HSD sets. Maybe the spring is longer and stiffer? Or perhaps you've got the front and rear springs round the wrong way?

I reckon your tyres are messing you up to be honest. What kind of pressures are you running?

Maybe the width/offset of the wheel is also causing the wishbone angle to be slightly different? Not sure. Probably not. CBA to work it out to be honest.

Try putting some different wheels on just to test, and see how that goes.

I suppose you could jack the car up and measure the springs without any preload. I'm sure DW should be able to tell you the lengths of the springs front and rear. They might be the same length though but different stiffnesses. Not sure if they'll have any spring rates printed onto them.
