Received mine today after much faffing around thanks to the weather, no fault of Driftworks though so thanks.

Just to be sure, are mine definitely zinc? (JZA80) Not really sure how to tell as I can't see any comparisons. Everything on them is either black or green other than the thread....... which part is meant to be zinc?

    Thanks for the GB :)

Nevermind, just sussed it. The key is in the thread :D

I wondered if the front and rear springs are interchangeable ... ?
So two 9er springs and I could change to 9/7 ?

Fitted my HSDs the other day. Very straightforward job.

However, having ventured out the door today there was a crashing and banging noise when driving along. Took the car home to get a look at the top nut that holds the strut to the topmount was loose!

I was under the impression that these were meant to come pre-built? It would seem it is only 1 of the rear ones that suffers from this problem but I have no way of torquing them properly on the car. Any ideas on how I can rectify this problem?

To the other guys, if you are fitting them yourself, before fitting them onto the car make sure the top nut on the topmount is tight. Otherwise you might end up chasing your tail :D

Please read the instructions, it states that you must torque the top nut.

Drop me a mail at sales@driftworks.com

    Cheers!

    Hi guys,

I'm fitting these coilovers on a friends s14 and i have a quick question, on the rear lower mount the HSD coilovers are slightly wider bush/lower mount than the apex ones being replaced. The standard bolt seems a little short and the dowel on the car only goes through about half way (maybe slightly more) into the lower mount. Do we only use the standard lower bolt and not a slightly longer one?

    Thanks

    Patrick
