ahhh ok, i thought i read in the thread that they only had a couple of sets of certain ones left. so i thought they might have had them all in stock but wanted to shift a load at a time so were offering a group rate. fair enough then lol
i've re-read the thread, post #41 was what the one that confused me ^^^ and then the whole thing about the group buy closing on the 24th but everything being sent out then as well... if they had to order them in after the group buy closed they couldnt be sent out the same day surely? i dunno, i've not slept much recently... it's probably that lol
Maybe they send out what they still have in stock to those who require them on the 24th? I have a question though is it possible to get the 8/6kg springs?
but if they're already in stock they could theoretically be sent out earlier if paid for in full...? i'm only really asking cos im bloody impatient and i'd like coilovers asap lol
FC3S are 7kg/5kg spring rates. Last year we topped 70 sets, as soon as it hits the 560 price, people jump on it. So if you all just jumped on it now it'd already be at £560! lol
wtf, If someone pays the full amount now. And then gets refunded to the lower price at a later date "if" it happends. Whats the difference in Driftworks sending them out Now if the full amount has been paid. if anything it might increase the Amount of people that will put the money down at the Higher price - earlyer on. its like a hybrid Group buy/buy it now. I cant see who it would not benifit. Except for Driftworks having the full amount in there bank account for longer. Some people need to think before they post.
Joe, it's just a matter of managing workload and stock. The idea is, we can deal with a lower price if we know we're sending out X coilovers on X date, and can deal with it one hit, and reorder stock in one hit. It's predictable, manageable and efficient. As soon as we start deviating from that and sending stuff out other times and working out prices and bla bla bla it's adding admin work in, which cancels out the whole point of the GB!
Like yourself. I can't see how a short wait to get something of superior quality for a much lower than normal price is causing you any hardship? Fucking ungrateful. You want 'em now, pay full price for it. You want 'em cheap, wait a little while and wind your neck in.
I'll say the same to you. I asked the question on here and wanted a response from someone who was organising the group buy. I now have that answer, and funnily enough your arsey comments contributed in no way to me getting it.
So could I switch to, lets say 10/8 ? and If not can I exchange the springs later on, if I want stiffer ones ? -Patrick
