hello guys ! im brand new to this forum and feels nice to see good info out here ! ... my question iss.

i cant find any great answer about my problem because i have multiple factors..

i have blue smoke coming out from the exhaust at like 5pounds of boost .... what could it be ?

-i just changed the turbo for a smaller one so the air fuel mixture isnt the same... could it be this ? the more i boost the more i go rich.. i think if i floor it , i could go to like 8,5 on the wideband ... i just did a boost leak test i had few leaks i tighten them up and good to go

before the turbo change i had a bit of blue smoke due to worned turbo i think , i opened the pipes and cleaned a lot of oil in it .. i plan on doing a compression test 2morrow i really hope the piston rings arent the problem .. can u guys help me im getting anxious about riding my rb (rb25det s1 )

Broken ring land dude so rebuild or replace time. Sucks for you!

Pull the injectors and send them off to get cleaned & checked. If cylinder 2 is partially blocked that'd be the reason for the damage

If it was a cracked ringland wouldn't it be smoking non stop? i remember driving a celica gt4 with a cracked ringland, the smoke behind me was so bad im surprised i didn't get pulled!
does it sound like its misfiring?
could there be the possibility the valve/ valve seat could be damaged?
at any point was the car running lean on boost?

The 40psi is what makes me think cracked ringland, or rings with multiple cracks, rather than the amount of smoke

The overfuelling wouldn't have helped either, potentially borewashing the cylinder walls of any oil
