So I sold my Cefiro a few weeks ago and finally bought this Saturday gone. Always wanted a Jzx and thought it was finally time to purchase one. I knew what I wanted a black or white markII. Chasers are cool as fuck too but just something about the MarkII always preferred them. I put up a few posts on Facebook looking for a car and the owner of this got in contact with me. Knew of the the car before and the minute he told me price and spec I arranged to view it. Also have to throw an NCT on the car and strongly thinking of changing the wheels and making it my own.
Bit of an update! Got the car NCT’d gearbox was still shit but still brought it out to bit of a show. Took off the XD9s, super cool wheel but since the car has been in the country it’s been on them wheels and I want to make the car my own. Picked up a pair of 18x10.5 et15 Kiwami’s Threw them on the front and lowered the car back down. Got a loan of some Cerberus off a friend for the rears love them but unfortunately won’t sell them to me lol. Here’s few pictures first big day out. {} {} {} {} {} I then started to change around a few bits bought a different grill which I much prefer gave back the Cerberus and bought back a pair of Model T7’s I used to own and threw them on the rear. I done a DIY job on the side lights and pulled the orange out love the clears but done a shit job so now I’ve to order a new set of side lights lol Also got a new R154 in the car and some solid Diff bushings car is so much different to drive now I love it! Apart from now having to change the clutch and we only just put in the box so have to pull it back down again lol Here’s how the car currently sits. I’ve plenty more plans ahead and can’t wait to properly start driving it. {} {} {}
This thing is super nice. As a Chaser owner, I know what you mean about MKIIs. I think its the series 2 rear lights that just make them look awesome.
Haven’t updated this been a few changes! Just after the last update I went and got the car Re-Tuned, since buying the car I wasn’t happy with it. It pulled strong but ran really rich and just felt wrong. Super happy with the change and how it feels now. I drove it for most of the summer like this and enjoyed it. Me and a friend went to Japan for the first 2 weeks in August. (Absolute dream country) had an unreal time. Bought a nice few bits over there for the car. A shit load of stickers, Ganador mirrors, Rasty kevlar canards/winglets, Bee*R Rev limiter, WELD plug cover and a genuine TRUST AIRNIX filter. probably more stuff im forgetting. As soon as i got home i done a few things and changed the car a bit. {} {} {} {} Was super happy with it but my side skirts had seen better days so I found some Origin Labo side skirts and got them sprayed and sorted out the wheel fitment a bit {} {} Again me being me i had to change something so I swapped my rear Model T7,s for a pair of Equips. {} {} Drove it like this for a while and loved how it looked but one thing that always bugged me was with the 10.5J on the front and the height the car realy drove like shit on the road and no matter how much i loved the wheels on the car i thought it was time to go down to a 9.5/10J wheel. So i searched and searched i really want a set of 18x9.5 et12 TE37's in OG Bronze but didnt have that kind of money. so i found a set of Genuine WMB finish 18x9.5 all round CR Kai off JDM Distro and bought them. I got tyres fitted and fitted them to the car but the canards in my opinion didnt suit it along with some stickers so i removed them for a more cleaner look. I really did love the bronze and the way i had the car but to drive it was shit. i always had a soft spot for some chrome kais so i was really happ and the minute i put the new wheels on the car drives a million times better and i love how it looks now. im never going to stop changing shit but from now on ill be keeping my chrome kai's and buying spare wheels to change around every now and then. {} {} {} {} The eyelids warent a great fit so i removed them. {} {} {} {} {} {} So thats it for the minute. In love with the car and super happy i took the plunge and finally bought one. its never going to end for me. I loved every look i had with the car but like i said already the big wheels looked cool but wasnt worth it the way the car drove. Plus this year imhopefully going to do more track days, i didnt get a chance last year sorting out the car and going to japan etc. but 100% will be out on track this year. Plans would be as much seat time as possible. pick up some other cool wheels along the way and id reall really love a BN Sports kit or a Modify Wonder kit but we'll see what happens Cheers.
Such a cool car man.. I really rate these now.. I was contemplating selling mine and getting back into a 180sx but they are too good.. looking forward to seeing more of your car
Thanks Olly Nowhere near as clean as yours man. But 100% agree they are too good! I wouldn’t say no to another sbody but I’d definitely try get one and have the JZX too haha.
