Mat, I just wanted to prove to myself that this angle could be obtained without spending £1500 or more.
I'm happy with the results and to go any further I'd have to manufacture adapter plates to relocate the top mounts (which I'll probably do at sometime :) )
See how the weekend does hey

I think that if you can't drift with 60* mate, then you need to look at lessons, not more lock :p

The first try out of the new lock attending the NDC went very well....
This Photo taken by Dave Harper shows the lock pretty clearly going round South Bank bend at Teesside:

    Thanks Dave :)
Steering took some getting used to as it now is very aggresive and I do have to steer the car now.

I was going to start a new thread showing how I got over 60 Degrees but then I thought it better to show the people that read my thread before those that dont.

If you've read the build you'll know I use a modified front subframe with the rack moved forward and lower arms that are extended 25mm so here's the new bits:
Lower arms where notched so the trackrod end had more travel and adjustable lock stops added to the upper face, also notice another fixing point added close to the subframe:

Custom made Adjustable Tension arms where the next thing needed as thats the next point that the tyres foul on.
This is them fitted the the lower arms:

I was going to make these as part of the lower arm but as the next stage is to extend the lower arms further and re-locate the top mounts I wanted them to be interchangable with all my lower arms

Knuckles are my usual items that most will have seen (although luminous orange isn't my usual colour):

This set-up was run without an ARB and going into the first corner on the West track for the first time was a bit nerve racking, but everything is good.
