Afternoon Everyone!, Ive been trying to think of all the questions i googled when building cars, im trying to make a Blog where some common questions can be answered without trawling forums and such. Garrett GT3076R Up to 500 hp 3,800 RPM BorgWarner EFR 7670 Up to 650 hp 3,200 RPM Precision Turbo PT6266 Up to 700 hp 4,200 RPM Garrett GTX3076R Gen II Up to 640 hp 4,000 RPM Forced Performance HTZ Green Up to 550 hp 3,800 RPM these have to be 450bhp plus and kind of looking outside the box if possible too! im also open to any other suggestions on things you,ve searched for in the past that you would have liked a nice single place to read some answers rather than scrape the opinions off people haha. See I do rate holset, I’m using a hy35 on my rb and spools up nicely but not really sure what the sr boyo’s would use other than something like maybe a hy32 or 30? But even then with holset they’re awkward as they have so many variants of ar rating in each turbo so most are unknown when people pick them up!
Going to dyno in ~2 weeks with holset hx40 super. 10y ago it was 400hp at 1.6, full boost at 4100 rpm, but engine specs changed. s14 sr20.
Hx40! That’s going to feel insane coming into boost! Would be good to see your graphs when you get it mapped!
