On mine, I just pulled the fuse out of the ABS master cylinder in the engine bay, and that did the trick.

Don't bother until you weld the diff anyhow, or you'll just be spinning one wheel.

    Bogging down when?

Only times I remember were the traction/stability etc kicking in, and when too much water was being injected.

I've had both, and once lightly modded like I did, yeah, I prefer these for sure.

Is it worth upgrading the exhaust? or do I need to keep it relatively small bore to keep back pressure or do sc cars need big flow like turbos

    Don't need backpressure really.

I didn't touch the exhaust on mine, but I expect a decent full system would help a bit.

2.5 should cover it, as power isn't high enough to justify more.

I reckon you'll want a middle box too unless you want it mentally loud mind, as you not got a turbo to silence things.

I wouldn't disconnect the recirc on a supercharged engine tbh..

Don't think he means it how you think he does.

I presume he means just disconnect it from the airbox, so it's vent to atmo. As that's all you need to do. And have no choice if you fit an induction kit anyhow.

Not sure why they asking as it's shown in the thread anyhow.

Hey, I know this was from a while ago (well the main part of it anyways lol) but I believe someone mentioned that the engine from an E55 (M113) would be a direct bolt on to the C230K? I've searched the MB forums and found absolutely nothing (no surprise from what y'all have said haha). Just wondering if anyone could direct me on this a little more, or if you could point me to the proper location?

I would really appreciate it, as I am looking to begin saving to do an engine swap in my car, but I don't want to save for something that won't work in the way I would like it to.

    Thanks guys

E55 engine is a straight swap for the C43 engine, even using the stock C43 ECU.

Won't be a straight swap for the C230K though.
