Hi stav. Sorry, but since the mb forums are so pants it seams you are the only person on the whole of the Internet who has any ideas about modifying a merc.
Just wondering if you managed to do anything to tackle the monumental lack of throttle responce?
I think it's engineered into the map, so might be able to get better response with a map.
Sprint booster which the mb lot are always on about, sound like they just advance the tps which won't help attenuation at all.

I never had any throttle response issues? Mine was fucking brilliant.

And yeah, the MB lot bum Sprint Boosters like they make anything fast as fuck. They're shit lol.

Okay, maybe another clk exclusive downfall. Been speaking to a guy with an amg55 at teesside who has the same problem.
Did yours have a clutch pulley, or solid for the supercharger?
I'd like to put a solid on mine, but think the ecu would shit itself.

Clutched, though it seemed to me the way it worked, the ECU wouldnt care.

Oh, alright, thank you. I think I might just try and add a turbo, and try for 400hp haha.

Thank you again, and maybe if I can save some money for my car I'll do a thread on it. But I don't make very much lmao

Awesome thread Stavros. Should be in the garage working on my Kawasaki 750 Turbo bike, with Lorcan Parnell's 200mph engine and Charlie Brown turbo, but I'm getting seriously hooked on CLK230s and really fancy a twat-about car for the summer. A CLK230 with your mods would be fvcking awesome. Think I need to sell my other bone stock 750 Turbo to get this project moving.

Hello, I've recently bought a MB c230 kompressor -99. What is the easiest and/or most efficient thing to do if I want a little more rubber burn and more skidz?

Hallo, I have a w202 kompressor 1996 with sc clutch, so can I make a fix pulley, without the clutch? How can I do?

Hey dude, not many people have messed with these cars, so you will have to do quite a bit of figuring out for yourself.
Quite a few kompressor cars didn't have a clutch on the sc, get down the scrappy and see if you can find one and if it will work. There are plenty in the scrap yards since the rust prevention is so shit!
Alternatively, look at hot wiring the clutch so you can turn it on and off when you want, this is the route I want to try out when I get the chance to start working on mine again.
    Good luck

I thank you for the answer, I was thinking of sending current to the clutch continues to leave it always attacked, but I do not know how to deceive the ECU.

Sorry, I did not know you were using a translator.
Scrappy - vehicle dismantler / breakers yard.
If you put constant power to the clutch the afm should see an increase in airflow and adjust fueling, but unless you want to risk the motor use an afr meter to check.
You will also have an issue with the bypass valve, as it diverts airflow around the supercharger when it's not supposed to be on boost.
I can't give you any definite answers on how to go as I haven't done it, sorry.

My friend, why I risk the motor If afm(ecu?) adjust fueling? And If I eliminated the bypass valve?

Afm/ Air to Fuel ratio Meter, not ecu. If you put too much air into the engine without enough fuel, it damages the engine.
If you remove the bypass valve you could damage the throttle body or blow airpipes.

Hey man i always keep reading over and over on this build. So many good ideas for the merc guys out there. Stavros what suspension are you using on the black w202 you have its super low but looks like it rides pretty good. I have k sport coilies in my clk and they are dirt. Was going to do what you done with this build put the bilstein b12 kit in with uprated arb . Also anyone used or know of the camber arms that f1fabrication sells has anyone bought them?? https://f1-fabrication.myshopify.com/

    Just spotted this.

Emitaz- Ignore the 'advice' above, it's just guesswork and wrong.
I've got a solid SC pulley on my current one.
Just leave the electromagnetic clutch plugged in and bolt it to the inner wing or something. With that plugged in still everything works just fine.

    Burke-
Honestly no idea what they are on the black one. Looks stock but don't ride like they are.

The Polish camber arms on eBay BonBon uses on his CLK230 Kompreessor drift car. They work fine.

    I'll second what stavros_one said!
It is guesswork as I said, stavros_one has done the real world work, I just piped up because I thought stavros_one had stopped using dw.
