Mercedes C230 Kompressor

    Ok, I will try, naw I have a little problem with the big pulley, at the high rpm, over 4000rpm, sometimes there is some hole of power, the compressor shut off and then go on, I think that the supercharger belt (new) slip, Tomorrow I install a new serpentine tensioner and I hope that all go fine.

    The tensioner don't solve my problem, at the 4000/4500 G/min full trotthle the boost dead. I think it'a a ecu problem.....
    Anyone can help me?

    Great shout on this info mate. I know you started this a few years ago but only just picked it up. Read through it all and some good mod info.
    I Have a C230K Track car all done on a budget, It was previously a drift car and then put back on the road. That's when I brought it and took it back off the road. Its an on going project for me but has already had a few things you've said done to it. I will be for sure removing those restrictive mesh parts as described. Air boxes removed so she really whines (like a bitch).
    They are great cars as I used to work for Mercedes so probably a bit bias. I do Brands a lot and for a car that cost me £800 it mixes it up with some big stuff.

    I found the solution to my problems, even changing the tensioner had boost problems, then I connected a zener diode of 4,7v to the maf and then the control unit does not detach more pressure. I also tried to put a washer for the bypass valve but it was too noisy and the benefits are minimal.

    I'm back, back problem, today I noticed that the car came with the zener diode limiter but the push from 4000 to 5700 was not very strong, so I disconnected the diode and I connected to maf a tester, testing the machine before the compressor has disconnected then suddenly the value arrived at 5.2V and soon after began to go wrong. trying maf values were all wrong as with the old maf. possible that the sudden pressure has broken the flow meter?

    Where did you get the bigger intercooler from? Did you ever fit the smaller pulley and get a remap? Thanks

    Replacing the streering wheel; I have fitted the new boss/hub but could only do so with removing the angle slip sensor ring thingy. Do I need this? Building a track car so not worried about ESP, ABS etc.
