Welcome, We are Mint Tyre Solutions Current supplying and fitting tyres at DWYB days at Santa Pod, we are what the early days of Steve in the tyre shed has evolved into Now rocking a Mint Mobile Tyre Van, 2 demo cars (driven by us!) and constant supply of used drift rubber, we are looking after everyone at most of the DWYB days, all of the Pod Show Drift dates and the new Drift Taxi events at the Modified Live shows. Our aim is to be able to offer everything you will need to do with tyres and drifting. We are able to supply air tested and paired used tyres (in size and often brand, if not, pattern) both at Mint attended drift days and for your own personal stock if, for instance, you wanted a pallet load. Our minimum requirements for ‘Practise Rubber’ is 3mm across ¾ of the face of the tyre and for it to hold air, the cost? £2.50 a tyre! Delivery can be by courier at extra charge, delivered to pod for free, or of course picked up! Discounts also available on van loads of 60+ We also have an ever varying selection of part worn rubber, stuff that is 5mm+ in tread and tested. Supplied as ‘Mint Fronts,’ these are road legal tyres that will hopefully save you using new tyres on your practise car, or in some cases, get you home when you have used up all you brought to the drift day! Price depending on the size and condition, but you will be looking at around £10 a tyre And then, for all you Super Pro lot needing the consistency and grip of a new tyre in competition, we are also setting up deals with tyre wholesalers and suppliers for next year so that we can get you great batch deals on new tyres to keep you going throughout the season, without paying retail on a tyre that just going to go up in smoke Price on application J We are also obviously more than happy to fit and repair your own supplied rubber, we offer discounts on pod demo days and we even offer a full and green disposal service Meaning the tyres we have all had fun on get recycled to go and become kids playground floors and rubber plants and stuff So, as we come to the end of a very good 2009, and with UK Drifting going from strength to strength, we are currently stocking up and preparing for what promises to be an even better 2010! does this mean that tyres at pod are now £2.50 each? I thought it was: £5 a tyre Plus £5 fitting, meaning it was £20 a set in total. Have the prices been reduced at DWYB days?

We are trying to form a uniform structure regarding the prices and service and also wanted to come in sub £20 for a pair including disposal We are drifters too and know that things soon add up, so we will try and help as much as we can
Well that sounds promising. Im guessing your not the guys who were there earlier this year with the tyre vans? are you the outfit (/shed) at the top near the big track? Under £20 sounds promising. However my local tip lets me take 4 tyres in at a time so over a couple of weeks between drift days i usually get rid of my used stash. Good to hear that it 'may' be abit cheaper in the future
