Ok here goes thanks for viewing, not sure if I want to do this but just seeing what offers are out there, built this car with a friend over the last few years, however after seeing a few jap/drift cars a few of them have recently purchased i cant help but have an itch to get back into it as well!

    So the car,
It has gone through a pretty big build since getting the car a few years back in 2010, i choose this particular model as it was one of the more desirable mk2 golfs to own....a 1990 spec oak green 16v 3 door with sunroof which was a rare car to find, it was in pretty good condition for the age however it did require work. I sent the car off to Bells coachworks guilford where it was treated to new sills, new wings and a bare shell respray.

I didnt want to skimp on anything on this build the materials for the paint alone cost me £1800 and the shine of the car shows this, the whole job cost just shy of £5000. This included a huge amount of undersill so the car would stay fresh and mint.

It was also treated to just about everything i could find new, arches, sill trims, grille, lights etc etc.

Then we went with the engine conversion, this had to be carefully planned out as even though there are a fair few mk2 20vs around we wanted to do it properly and make it look almost standard, and again anything we could replace new we did.

So with that "breif" :p discription heres the spec of the car.

    OVERALL:

This car really drives and runs well, theres no worrying noises and has been very reliable..i have never had a single problem with it!

It pulls strong through all the gears and with the 2 stage settings it can be run around standard power 150bhp and then 220-230bhp, it sounds fantastic not too loud but with a lovely flutter when you ease off.

Ive taken it to a handfull of shows where at one it received best mk2 golf in show:smokin:

In total is had well over £10k spent on it and thats not including the labour for the engine if not it would have been a lot more, also its not including buying it in the first place. I have tried to replace everything with new parts anything i could upgrade or re-new i did, and it shows it drives very well. There is not a mark on the bodywork no stone chips nothing, everything lines up and all fits together like it was out the factory.

Ive seen a few oak green 3 doors for sale on ebay and they seem to fetch good money around £3500 so given the paint job and the engine swap im going to ask £5500 for it.

I will listen to sensible cash offers but will also consider px or swap for the right car, however please bare in mind that the cars will have to be of the same value for a swap!

The car is located in Basingstoke

Px/swap wise 200sx skyline etc etc
