So I've bought a 1.6 NB 2002, it has some minor issues that include the rear brakes. After reading the forums a bit I understand that the 1.8 has different (better) brakes than the 1.6? I can't seem to find these brakes online tho. Any idea how to find these? Do all 1.8s have them? Are they a simple swap?
Fit the 1.8 svt vvt brakes on, theyre much bigger, and the rear handbrake actually works. Im sure the discs and pads are the same on all normal spec nb 1.6 and 1.8. The mk1 1.6 had smaller brakes than the 1.8.
