    Thanks bud.

Position is virtually the same, the door does touch the side bolster but its very minimal, dont even notice it

Have you still got the standard door card with the padded vinyl top section? I thought that's hwere it would hit...
I ended up with a Sparco Sprint because I assumed that was the only thing narrow enough to fit.
It is bloody uncomfortable though. Will have to offer up the recaro now!
How did you do the seatbelt stalk? I can't see it in the pic.

I used a TR Lane harness bar, and a secondhand 5 point harness from an Elise with shoulder straps designed for wrapping.
There's a good guide to harness fitting on the Schroth website.
    http://english.schroth.com/download/EA_8-2__2014-06.pdf
After reading that I ended up turning the harness bar upside-down to get the strap angles right.

Hey man, when I first started reading your thread I did NOT expect it to turn into the car I'd seen on Gumtree a few months ago, what a transformation! I really like the choice of grey you went for and the blue alloys really set it off.

I'm excited to see what you've got in store for the new 5 ;)

    Cheers,
    Jordan
