Awesome car dude, cant wait to have a skid when its done, the old shell...well what a mess that was! Now look where your at, great turn around dude
Remember this when it was for sale back before I started building my S14.5, got to say some great work youve done there
Thanks mate appreciate it but it's not done yet, 740cc now on order. But I'm thinking it's tyres I should be buying...lots not lots of tyre lol
Quick little update? .... well as you can see the engine build with MB Automotive is going pretty well to say he has several cars in , a row of engines to build and his own BDC monster being built.
Martin @ MB Automitive had removed the engine for the new forged parts within an hr of it being dropped off & shown me some welding issues that was to be tidied up. so whilst the engine was out, an ideal time to crack on with a few other bits like a bay tidy up. this soon went a little like plague in over the whole car... Alot of prep work done I made sure I was involved taking days off work to travel an hour to the car everyday. Stripping parts, cutting, grinding, sanding, flatting & help from friends too with the spraying, polishing & masking off. I shouldnt have done really as say 5 days of my time @ 350.00 per day at work has not taken anything off the bill at all.
Fair play, from the fucking nail you started with it looks bloody awesome. Pretty mega spec, serious spend, but straight out there at Lydden so 100% fair play to you, as that's what drifting is all about, err, drifting, lol. Keep up the good work.
shes almost done now, a few more little bits to sort like the washer bag etc then the running in of the engine. Im now on a debate on what to do about a rear spoiler. BGW?
I did mate but sorted it with another deal ,few cross words at 1st as they removed the rear spoiler the meister r coilovers, brakes etc to put on there new s14.5 skid car that you see in there Aerokit.Tv, think its in Romania now? anyway its now going in the right direction so I cant bitch eh lol
Cushty! Just as Im getting somewhere, the engine almost in the hole.... my Stage 4 comp clutch & flywheel do not fit each other and the flywheel will not fit my engine.
Many a man would have dropped at the first hurdle, but you have turned this into something awesome... Fair play to you dude. Its a cracking motor now by the looks of things..
BOOM! Thank you Martin @ MB Automotive, the Engine is in, up & running, clutch issue resolved & the car sounds awsome! Small running in period now so nicly nicly on the throttle n clutch for a few hundred miles bedding in time. Excited now... Driftworks BGW Purchassed, Pics yet to come.
Well Im a happy man now, shes finally done, all up & running, kits all on, all painted. 4 month difference in the x2 pics. Just some running in time then & remap.
