So over the years ive been watching this site alot and taking some influence from it and had 2 skylines a 32 and 33, a ps13,an s14 countless sierra and other random yokes in between then got married wised up for like 2 months and in feb last year bought the the 14a looking like this, with in tentions off keepin it as a good road car, spec is nistune, fmic, walbro hks superdragger, hsd coilovers, any way some pics my bride seat i got at humble money lamin-xed the lights then
Always hated the wheels so changed them to these So having struck an oil leak which needed the turbo removed and in bad humour left the bonnet not closed right totally my own stupid fault, was limping the car home and a gust off wind came and lifted the bonnet and fucked my roof up and bonnet. then lost heart for a while but fixed the leak the lowerwed the front more Since i took the coilovers back out off the front(due to being busted) it was sittin to high and pissin me off so the mate had s13 fronts sittin so put them in this evening and fitted the rear coilovers to and is sitting alot better
so done a bit more drifting at eglington bonnet had to come off as the aircon rad was still in, then bought liner rear brakes still not fitted so then the tax was up and nearly outta mot so was goin to fix it up and fix roof and all and stripped all the interior so as to weld the sills aswell last september And a bitt off the bad bit No wonder the sills rot And finally no spoiler and skirts
it lay the for months a jcoupes and then finally pulled the finger out, removed the air con rad and pump and pipes and started to reroute the intercooler piping, also bought a welded 3.9 welded diff and compbrake hydro, this pics are literally how its sitting at the minute, So having missed not haveing as nice road car and the 200 sitting payed for and now goin to be my driftcar as its to hard to be sensable in it i bought this wee 86 in clonmel which took 4 hours down and 5 home but worth the drive plans are these wheels 15x8.5 -25 rears and 15x8 fronts 0 offset this it the day after i got it home with 200 odd miles off salt and shit on it
then fitted the equippes this was them before i moved the centres didnt want to destroy the archs centre out painted the rear ones as they were bad and after So i fitted a glass grille and took the skirts off and painted them satin black bad pic but
Few pics from a local cruise and how its sitting at the minute and the car is now registered in the north, the crap northern reg Until i get my english reg on in the next few weeks and rear equips back on and how it looked as a trueno which i will prob but it back to
sorry for all that together, fair bit still to come in the next while as and when i get time to do more to both hope it makes sense
Looks fantastic with the equips, liked it far better as a Trueno tbh. Also, you were beside me after that cruise, how the hell can you stand on the limiter for that long is beyond me. lol
to be honest i hated the longchamps until the mate cleaned em an put them on his and any way i always wanted equipes on one before i ever even bought one, as for the limiter, the slagging from mcl that she wouldnt take it plus if bein honest that the 4age does crap itself the poor 14 might lose its heart, and also i love the trueno but it a while away till funds are available the mates uk rep on the longies
thats karma for putting those bonnet spacers in and makign it look like it was crashed! Also that cam is cool , i was trying to do a deal on it with my 14! enjoy it!
the lifters were for function over form as wit aircon in it got warm when sliding so it helped keep it cooler and yea i really dont know how the window didnt break
So ive sourced a full trueno front now, altough be a few months till the funds is there to get it but also found this pic and am very tempted to go rob again
Very nice cars mate. Love the booter, got one myself. Funnily enough I nearly went to view that car a year or so back. Looks to be a good one. Well wear.
Thanks james, so yesterday i went to the ae86 track attack in mondello, and to say now im fully hooked is an understatement, even after yesterday considering selling the 14a to build a track 86 as the booter felt so good until i rung the diff on the second outting, the joy off driving the underpowered twincam flat out and having to do something is class so much more fun than just lieing back with little ta do, any way found this great pic didnt think there would be many as i broke really early on
