New drift event

That would be awesome if you could, not sure how many drivers are actually coming but it should be fairly quiet I'd have thought. Bring lots of tyres with you if your drifting seat time will be silly.

It's pay on the gate, £40 per day to drift but there might be a gate entry fee per person like Smeatharpe (£10).

monkey magic i hope u dont mind but i just rang a local tyre company up that it 5 miles from the airfield and he his happy to come and do it both day,i got his number if u want it, whats uf facebook page

 

there is a tyre van at this event now for both days

 

just had agreat day at kirkbride would recommend if you have time tomorrow come over. Great track & loads of tracktime.

 

Anyone who can get to Kirkbride airfield needs to come down.

Yep you would have enjoyed it, not too far for you to travel as well. I think they are talking of 2 next year but not sure.

Trev did tell me 2 events for next year, both weekenders. One in spring time (April I think) and the other was the same time of year as this one.

Now we just need to get more drifters there to make it worth the tyre van guy turning up and outnumber the sprinters/grippers.

 

Everyone came on well and as Martin said, makes a nice change for people to listen.

Must say think you need get a few more dates on the calender for this place as it will go down a treat with us lancashire, cheshire, manchester lot as its not that far for us, just a few junctions up the m6
