    hi guys.

Just got myself a mk1 mx5 (eunos) with the intention of it becoming a car i can go do drift days in, but also track if i want.

so far it's got coilovers, 13 inch compomotive wheels, and a VLSD (picture in my avatar). the VLSD does work surprisingly well, and the car will do donuts and the like, but this'll probably get changed for a welder fairly soon.

hope to see some of you around.:D

    Super overdue update!

So I've almost had the car a year now. As it stands it now has:

    Welded differential
    TR Lane roll bar
    Bride brix recliner
    Momo comp 350mm steering wheel
    Bomex side skirts
New waterpump, cambelt ect. (Doesn't count really)
More 13 inch wheels (appliance mesh)

Buuuut, more importantly I did a drift day or 3 ☺️

First day at Rockingham was excellent, but the VLSD made transitions...intresting so that was swapped out for the welded diff.

Second day at Rockingham was also great. Got my first taste of drifting with other poeple.

Then a month later, to pod for DWYB.

I had planned to do Rockingham again this month, but failed to get a ticket

Car wise, I've got some ns2rs to go up front to try to eliminate understeer, and some destroyordie hubs to increase lock, but I'm in no rush to fit them.

Can't wait to get back out and do another practice day ☺️

I havnt removed it. I might try it one day tho, I've had friends say the same thing. Yes it's so fun to slide as you have to enter corners really fast lol.

On your drift days were you running the power stock mostly? I ask because I'm tempted to get an mx5 myself for a first time drifter :)
