Sat 23rd December: Venue: Northampton International Raceway - NN7 2BA Test day: drift what you want event: Surface: As any normal L2D day - Let the weather decide. We are restricting the cars to 45 cars for the day. 40 spaces will be reserved by our system 5 driver spaces can be purchased on the gate with first come first served basis. We will be running an A lane & B Lane A lane will be L2D instructors and any driver whom shows competency without spinning every lap and whom earn themselves an A lane wrist band. Max of 12 cars on track with 5 second start. B lane will be anyone unknown to us, until such a time they can prove compentency to join the A lane. Max of 6 cars on track at any time with 15 sec start. Noise limits are set 95db static / 105db drive by. No prisoners rule. Crash helmets to be worn at all times while on track. Bumpers and bonnets must be worn at all times, we don't want this turning into a dry king of the ring missile event. Arms and legs to be covered at all times. Including passengers. (It's simple if your not covered your turned around to go back into the pits until you are covered wait till the next go) Sin Bin will be in operation and you will be held on infield watching the others having fun. 1st offence - 15 mins 2nd offence - 30 mins 3rd offence - trailered up and go home. Prices: Any driver or passenger ride drivers in L2D who wants a space needs to drop me an inbox for a password: this gives 48hrs lead time for booking and £10 discount on driver spaces cost, as they assist me with running Learn2drift. Spaces will be up for grabs from 12pm tomorrow for L2D drivers & Instructors all details posted into the group. Non L2D drivers : Spaces will go on general sale from 6pm on Thursday 8th December and as followed: Entry £5 per person on the gate. Driver space for the day £55 + £5 entry Additional drivers £25 + £5 entry Passenger ride wrist band £35 + £5 entry We will have tyre changing facilities on site, to be confirmed if L2D pit crew van or Mint tyres. Costs to be confirmed. A tyre service will be in place. Northampton is a very grippy and fast surface in our 8 months of using the venue the best we get out of tyres when we run dry is 3 laps.
