Ex Doricar Cefiro is up for sale. Bought with dead engine and gave it a bit of TLC. After drifting a 180SX I have decided that it's the way ahead. Missus Mitch doesn't want the Cef as the family ride (Unfortunately-how pimp would that be) so it is up for sale. Spec is pretty much as for James' ad, except it now has a different engine and turbo (Low mileage ex auto from Mr Julian (Cheers for sorting me out, squire ), new timing belt, new water pump, new engine and gearbox oils and filter, new iridium plugs, power steering repaired, Momo racer 17's fitted and those godawful rear bumper extensions removed I now have the V5 for it too Taking the graphics off removed some good chunks of paint , so it has been given a coat of finest Nato green, which is pretty rough close up at the moment. Also included will be some facelift S13 wheels (6 IIRC) I'm looking for offers around £3150, but will seriously consider a swap/px for a 180SX or SR'd 200SX Thanks.
Its very cool Mitch. Does it have a bucket seat/harness at all and if not do you know if the seats use skyline subframes? Does it also have full interior? I'm curious about it as i imagine it would be quite a practical drift car, i might make a nice drift taxi.
Yep, can fit a harness and it'll have either a bucket seat or R32GTR seat-not decided yet. R32 seats bolt in, or easily adapt S13 seat. Ideally I'd like to paint it a posh colour and have it as a family car, but don't think that's likely. It has full interior and seems proper civilised, and would definitely be a practical part time drifter.
Fair enough, certainly worth a try Drove it a bit yesterday. Really smooth, very quiet and pretty quick. Think I'll be smearing it with green paint tomorrow, and if it's not sold with in a couple of weeks and I can't convince my wife it'll be a good car for the family, I won't be having the 180 action this year. I'll make it look like this one..... {}
someone buy it, its a super-mega-fast appreciating car its also the easiest car I've ever drifted, I drove it at bruntingthorpe for the 1st time, did 4th gear for the 1st time, and span twice all day wish I could afford it. wanna swap?
Mr Nick and Matt-do you have specs for your cars? If so, punt them to me via PM, you never know.......Would certainly prefer the cash though. I've not drifted it yet, but James said it's easier to dori than my green S13, and that was the easiest car I've drifted. Wish I was about on Sunday to test it at Silverstone, but got other plans for the weekend. Just waiting for it to get light so I can see how it turned out
