Wave goodbye to engine transplants » Motoring and Maintenance Blog » Yell.com
WTF. what BASTARDS!!!!
is that only for cars that are "to be" converted? What about all the existing engine swaps?
one article from one website. not verified.
i really wouldnt get that worried about it guys.
even so, how the hell are they going to know what you do? your average policeman struggles to determin which end of the car an engines in.
surely this aint right is it???
Now we'll HAVE to live with CA18's
EDIT: Unless we pay a garage.. bad times
It'll be fineeeeeeee.
ha, they couldn't do it How the hell would they police that
I doubt its true but.... plenty of people know a 'mate' that works in a garage anyway.
as far as i can see its just a rebranding of the SVA? doesnt mention in there that i can see that every modified car needs one? even says cars over 10 years old dont need it?
sounds like bullshit to me too, its probably only gona give you hassle if you want to change the engine number on the v5 that youd get bothered by this
I was only passing on what i was linked, dont shoot the messenger
Even people comenting are doughting what he's said it cannot be inforced!
Scare-mongering bullshit.......................that is all
haha yeh you better hope so dave, otherwise you're fc plans are completely fucked
no way they could enforce that an anyway half the cops wouldnt no the difference between a micra an skyline engine ha
Lots of Little Blue men running around with their, flashing helmets out, demanding a look under your covers, at your precious!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is obscene. If its my chunk of metal, i'll do what i like to it, providing its safe of course
reminds me of an asbolute classic ian told me,
couple of guys in mr2s had been skidding about a big car park, just parked up, police arrived and asked them what theyd been doing
policeman put his hand on the BONNET and said, "oh engines cold, cant of been you guys"
