Hi People! Last year i bought the ex Japspeed car from Ant. Finally it came in to the norwegian shores. My plans for this car is to make it as presistent, and competable as possible to attend in the Pro drift series here in Norway. Hopefully i will get some international races aswell in the future. Some pics: When it stranded in to the shore.... After removing the stickers Here posing with Petter Eriksen S14(the old DW S14) Some shots from my first runs x_338bd6e3 by
its alive....time for some updates.... My plan is putting a 2jz in the car and update the steering geometry.... Time for some parts!! Exedy tripple carbon clutch Garrett 3582r Twin wasteG manifold with Tial and Garrett Im doing the Tech2 conversion kit and mounted the crossmember ] New Koyorad Loads of goodies waiting to used. Spot the Autronic SM4 Got some new knuckles from Part shop Max. Here showing the difference from the original ones. Also i got some more porn from Part Shop Max, FLCA`s trying it on with the knuckles. Adjusting the driving position before paint Got some new Rear brakes from ASD to improve locking Sorry for the bad photos. That`s it for now but i will keep ya posted
After ages of waiting it finally arrived Spot the mistake Looks like the provider was in a hurry to change the sump. After stripping down the engine. I gave it some nice paint New waterpump, oilpump and pulleys.. Closing one of the oil feeds...Yup, single all the way Adding new fittings for the oil feed going to the single... After getting my head back from the local shop, it has been cleaned and decked Then starting fitting the new BC valvesprings and TI retainers. Lapped the valves aswell. Start fitting the head with ARP head studs. Putting on the valve seats After throwing on the rest of the bits it turned out like this Also i got a hold of some nice 8pot K-sport Big brakes for the front. Fills out the 18" Rotas nicely Cant wait to get this beast on the track
Hopefully they will be ok. Heard alot about people who had to return them because the discs werent straight. Also the brake pads can crack easily. But most people i spoked with here in Norway are pleased considered the prize. BTW, I measured mine and they are pretty straight. Matter of fact more straight than my rear wilwoods - - - Updated - - - Thanks! Gotta love the 180silvia
So, due to the massive torque from the JZ i want to step up my old drivertrain. I got a hold on a R33 GTR rear to swap in my drivertrain setup. The true 6 bolt axle to the left compared to the 5 bolt to the right Here you can see the 2 6bolt output shaft from the GTR to the left and the 2 from the 5 bolt to the right They are not the same height or same diameter, so they are not interchangeable. Because of the bigger diameter in the GTR axles, the hubs need to be changed aswell. Rear cover changed from the 180sx diff to the GTR diff. Switched the tailshaft aswell
oooooooooooow maaaaaaaaaaan this is exactly what my car needed!!! so happy to see it being used still and upgraded etc!! keep up the good work! miss this car so much!!!!!!!
Its only there to support the PS pump. Don`t have the time to fabric a bracket. Also my serpentine belts are for the super damper pulley with AC:/
gonna be sex! love parts shop max stuff almost went that route on my build but then decided driftworks..
