few expensive wee nudges there,
wouldnt fancy being in the porsche at the end there lol
I love the way so many cars have their ESP systems obviously turned off yet their abilities cant keep up.
Agree with the "watch this" mentality being the cause of the accidents there. Don't think I've ever been there on a busy TF day when there hasn't been a few crashes.
Watching those people who just park up on the side of the track (the 2 cars) and proceed to have a chat and a laugh sends shivers down my spine. Its a f*cking corner! Move! I thought it was all going to end in tears.
The barriers around that particular bend must be double reinforced lol.
Apart from the bikes they are pretty much all down to driver error. Its not even that hard a corner, you can pretty much see where its going as its uphill a bit.
What amazes me though is the complete lack of control as soon as the arse end steps out a bit, they all seem to go into an instant fishtail. Particularly the FWD cars. Bunch of gays.
the corner isnt that bad ive been round there countless numbers of times and never seen anyone crash or crashed for that matter
It is. I've been round there countless numbers of times and often see a car smashed up or parked there.
Found another one!
Haha that corner caught so many out when we were there! Good videos.
Poor s2000's, snappy little Bugga at the best of times and clearly too much for the owners
A good amount of those crashes must be drivers error tho,
ive only ever been to the ring twice, driven 1 lap my self, which i was taking easy as i i was in a 5 series touring with wonky alignment, but i can see how people can get over excited and come in to hot, i found it very easy deceiving how fast your actually going, which i think is what catches a lot out.
From someone who lives here and does 500+ laps a year in all types of cars. until you have 100+ laps done it can all look the same and some hills are flat after, some are hard braking. its noa easy track
Its not "if you crash" its "when and how hard"
But Also its great fun
ive been going since 2005, twice a year. and i still count myself as a intermediate and prehaps in some respects a novice althouh i would hope thats just me being modest.
that corners not hard if you know. when i started i kept setting myself up early for the apex but doesnt seem that clear cut. unless your driving you cant see the camber. plus following into eiskerve.. its name is pretty blatent.
the porsche in the first vid stopped pretty fucking sharpish!
Quoted for truth!
