Yeah I got super lucky with mine.. with the lip, the guy had no idea what it was, paid $80NZD, the end caps and rear valance showed up on ebay (trademe) and I bought the whole rear bumper for $120.

with the car I have some of these lying around:

And I bought a Vanquish bonnet lip.. was going to use it w/ M-Sport bonnet but the car it was on fell through and never came over from Japan so now I might just sell it.

Apart from that.. maybe a better stereo.

very lucky find there! i managed to find a jap spec rear bumper + lip in a breakers yard for £30, then found the rear spats round the corner!

those are the n1 vents iirc, look quite nice in the front bumper.

personally id get rid of the bonnet lip

Olly, turbo it :) there' s bunch of examples in Jap them running stock sr20de with turbo set up ;) as it' s your daily car You aren't looking for lots of power, so that' ll be perfect with gt2560r or something similar. There' s few ways to do it, but it' s far easier, less expensive and time consuming than engine swap Just for the record: me and my friend bought few straight cam sr20det engines from parts importer, found one of them is sr20de with sr20det valve cover and coilpacks, having sandwichplate and thick braided pipe for turbo oil feed, and oil return to the pan, also running exedy light flywheel and stage 2 spec clutch :)

Yeah there are heaps of guys in NZ running SR20DE+T but I'm really not interested. I really hate working on cars man.

    LIKE REALLY HATE IT.

I blew 3 motors in my last s13, 2 turbos, 1 clutch and fucked a gearbox. It was off the road for 2 out of the 3 years I owned it. I use this car every day. Drive across NZ in it to film D1NZ and its never let me down (apart from fucking wheel bearings ugh)

    RPS13 Type X Kouki Bumper Lip 200sx 240sx S13 SR20DET on eBay (end time 08-Feb-11 21:28:49 GMT)

Granted they are a little pricey but defo keep an eye on that sellers' items, got so much random useful junk in there.

Sorry if I've missed it Olly, but what engine you putting in this? It's pretty sweet having the DE motor in it for reliabilty, i'd been reasonably happy with mine for a while, but then jumped in a mates silvia gave it a little clutch kick and remembered how much i missed boost

Alex, seen them already man. Problem is that the lip is £250 iirc then another £250 shipping, plus a handling charge (which he doesn't mention) meaning a £200 lip will cost me over £500!

I've found a couple so far but sellers are reluctant to let them go on their own or they get sold to someone else under my nose

    Keep searching :smash:

Lame update: I got those new wheel bearings in, lowered the front 12mm and painted the calipers black.

Drove to Taupo over the weekend and filmed D1NZ. Here's a screen shot. Jake Jones car caught fire mid drift. He was really lucky. He got burnt on his neck but apart from that he was fine. It was pretty scary seeing him get out of the car and roll all over the grass. Then he didnt move for a while

They repaired the car and I think Jake made the Top 16 which he was really happy about...
