Onevia from New Zealand (56k MURDER) and a sr20 van Gidday all, i'm Jono from little ol' NZ, this is my '89 s13 silvia i bought...it looked better on the auction site to be honest with you.... CA18DE witha nice auto behind it......can anybody say AWESOME?.....no?....oh.....alright then. It had a slight teeny tiny ding. so after the wee bit of depression at that damage i looked further and found that the car was actually almost completley rust free so it was actually a good unmodified base to start with. got this did this stripped this saw this must have been one hell of a crash to do this, i was ab it surprised when i took the gear selector out to be honest! worst job in the world CA got the boot more damage paint stripped these then made them straight filled then dents in the bonnet ....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnd then i destroyed it all got these from a s15 turbo and these from a r32 gts-t and fake brembo'd them with 330mm rotors and race pads, they arent as orange as they look, they are the same colour as r34 gtr vspec calipers
some adjustable arms too, have front castor too, were getting painted when i took this pic made this too put the car up on the car bench at work this bit just fell off, i swear knocked the firewall out a fair bit i think the car has seen better days i put a insert in the rail for extra strength just like new...errr....ish dead square general fitup boooo 19's (wont be using these)
left rail repaired and 100% straight back on it's crud wheels shaved boot so thats where my car stands at the moment, its currently at the fabricator's getting the front tubs and half cage getting welded in, i'll be getting it back wednesday oh and if you didnt notice...i'm a panel beater lol
well engine wise i'd like to do something like a mighty JZ setup, interior will be minimalistic, idealy finished in a blood metallic red, straight body, excessivly low and still road legal
very nice work mate, you bring it a new life!!! when you welded the hood, you make just some point,or you weld all the length?
cheers for the comments fellas well its just thousands and thousands of tacks and after each tack i quenched it with a wet rag to stop it from warping
haha this is VERY true, its simple as hell, put on the sill clamps, give it a big pull (easy with 20 tons of pull at your foot's disposal) drill it off, give it a good tap up, fit everything up, measure it all over and weld it up....its simpler than it looks! update coming tomorow!
