    Hello!

A guy told me that the new thing is to run positive camber.
Is there any truth to this? I dont understand the logic behind that tho...

    Thank You

Camber gain as the rear squats so you get a better contact patch as you’re on the power

Going any further than +0.5 camber is useless, and the difference between 0 and +0.5 is so small i doubt you'd feel any change

Changing the toe is more important. PSM do a Toe Control Bracket that can eliminate the toe in on compression:

I'm sure someone will come up with an easier / cheaper option

    Alright thank you.
So theres no benefits to using positive camber in the front?
I'd imagine that as the tire rolls on to itself, the positive camber gains would be so extreme that... One might actually damage/break something.

Ive always heard that toe is... more of a simple fix to a bigger problem?
You shouldent add grip with toe, go softer in the suspension instead

Positive camber on the front? Hell no

If you're talking most things Nissan, as the steering wheel is turned to the right, the right wheel (now point out) gains positive camber

And softening suspension as opposed to adding toe is better if looking for grip, but how you soften depends on the car. Spring rates, dampening, swaybars, and tyre pressures all come into it, and which of those should be adjusted depends on the vehicle itself.

Ie, for a heavy car, softening up the swaybar and springs rates but keeping the dampening and tyre pressures high is not ideal

The reason for pros running positive camber in the rear is so the cars will slide when not on power.
Wisefab makes that much grip with semi slicks that they're dialing grip out.

I guess all it would do is improve contact patch for your inside wheel rather than outside (inside relative to the corner not the direction of steering). But due to body roll and load transfer its the outside wheel doing the work anyway so wouldnt make sense.
