It would be nice if they changed their minds. Ive approached this through three different avenues in the past, all very encouraging...................right up to the point that the person in charge realises what you are actually suggesting !!! As Tony said, its held stage rallies before and occasionally has the odd event via the pukka old skool MSA type Car Clubs that had access to all these places before health and safety and such got involved. But Its currently the Police Helicopter flight training school as well as a live base for MOD Helicopters and regularly gets visits from everything from Chinoolks to Apaches they are usually a bit wary of new people rocking up to do car stuff. As i said, I wish Bob the best luck in the world, it has always needed a proper approach with the correct insurances and such in place and in fairness I have played my part in dissuading "wannabes" from trying in the past as once these venues are fucked up by the first muppet they rarely come up for a second offer, so hopefully this will be the correct pressure point that will finally pay off. Be nice to get the Orange out for some skids !! J.
