Guten Abend! xD my Name is Felix, I am 22 and this is my car and its story! First things first, the idiot behind the wheel: I've always had a soft spot for E30s. Bought the first one when i was 16 and since then I had about 20 E30s, a Soarer 1JZ, E34 M5, E36 M3, RS13 and some other shitbags. But E30s were always my number 1 since I as a little kid. Only RWD cars of course! ^^ So, the car.... Within about a year it has transformed from this: to this: over 400 hours of spannering, welding, sanding, sweating, freak outs and throwing tool through the shop and this is the result of it. I found it in a back yard, standing there under a tree half covered in grass looking sorry for itself for the last 4 years. Towed it out of there and gave it a wash. Overall it wasn't looking so bad. Took it to my shop, got it on the ramps and the work begun. 17 pieces of sheet metal later, brand new front wings and several other chassis parts, swapped out the M10 lump for a complete M20B20 running gear with about 110k kilometers on the clocks. Polybushes all around, a lot of new bits and bobs here and there and a complete shell rebuild later it looked like this: So then i had it MOT'ed (TÜV in Germany) and registrated and i loooooved it! It was sooo much fun to drive!! one fuckin year of effort and spending money it was finally on the road again! Nobody thougt it would ever run and drive again, so the faces of them rolling around the corner in that car that had seen me more the last year than my girlfriend were awesome!! Some shots in between: new interior in "Havanna Braun" (brown) me and my mate being idiots D the entire car is painted with chassis paint (don't know the word, its a special paint as a protection for rust) After everything was ready i drove it like this, besides small changes here and there: Fitted a HARTGE front bumper and swapped the front end to pre-facelift metal bumpers: original HARTGE Exhaust fitted: lowered it more
interior sorted out, installed some gauges Breyton spoiler some random shots So this is it so far..specs are: BMW E30 316i M10 from 1988 BMW M20B20 drive train, axles and brakes Getrag transmission from 325i M20 4.10 welder Hartge front bumper Hartge rear spoiler Hartge Exhaust system Last Edition Touring side skirts OZ MSW 7x15 195/50 15 with Goodyears Vogtland springs 35mm lowering with yellow adjustible Koni dampers on the back DS Motorsport front springs 70mm lowering with yellow Koni dampers H&R Motorsport rear ARB 16mm adjustible 17mm ARB up front of a 316 non i Polybushes all around The car is going to get back in to the garage over the next months to get rebuild, plans are -Full M3 Exterior -more lows -M50 Turbo build -5 stud swap and bigger brakes -roll cage -new selfmade exhaust and lots of other things!
