S14 Oil Pick up / Cusco Diff

Few pictures i need to add, I fitted my Cusco MZ 2 way diff :)

    R200 49/12 (4.083:1)

As you guys well know the S13 SR20DET StraightCam suffers from the oil pickup falling off over time, so you must uprate them to an S14 one.

    Job done.

    Thanks man

@joe-sef; I bet you it hasn't been done as 99% of people don't know about the problem.. Scary mine was cracked when i took the old pick up off.. wasn't miles away from breaking off and engine death!

Great news, I know this will not be to everyone taste, but I don't care :)

I've agreed to do a deal with this dude for his complete kit off his car in exchange for my super duper BN Sports kit. :)

Stunning car i think you'll agree, I'm having standard rear bumper, skirts, and of course the front bumper:)

My only thoughts are, do i change my front wings from the BN Sports ones back to standard, just unsure if the wide front wings will suit the look or not?

What do you guys think

And also.. I now need to pick a new colour for the car is its booked in for paint in 4 weeks time!! :D

I think you'd be best off with stock wings.

if you want to swap/sell something with the side skirts let me know.

also cheers on the heads up with the oil pick up.

any chance you took some more picks/ guide write up or is it just a simple swap over.

also what did you use to seal the sump back up - thats the part im dreading.

It's easy to seal back up with any instant gasket as long as u don't bend the steel when removing it

Don't use too much sealant either, common mistake.

Its really easy to do once you've taken the pan off. I used a dremel to modify mine to suit the s14 ones.

Then some half decent sump sealant from motorfactors, make sure both surfaces are clean from old gasket and oil, rough up with scotchbrite or some shit if you want.

Clarkey - dam you for nice aero!! At least you're not going to be getting the fibreglass knock-off stuff when it comes along. Question though, are you going to be running the 18's with the oem aero?

My oil pickup fell off for a bit, i think it was welded back on, i noticed oil pressure dropping to 2bar even when flooring it, and that was the cause. engine is all good though :) so maybe it was just a bit wonky donky.

    stock is also best.

my old PS13 when it was stock bumpers + skirts

and with supermade rear bumper (i hated the wedge of a rear bumper)

stock front wings with some abuse mind you, 10j's with 245/35/18.

    stock wings FTW
