Yeah I was just about to ask that! Bit guess you got to it before I did. I guess il be hinting down some s series knuckles for the swap over. Do you know if it matters what sort (I know they have to be 5 stud) but does the shaft/bearing diameter chnge throught the series?
Rbody RWD use a completely different bearing unfortunately. Green Missile. Anything 5 stud should fit.
Yeah R and Z body both use a totally different design for wheel bearing, cheaper for s-body spares anyway. Like my whole front setup can use all stock s14 parts like track rods lower arms ect.. But I still have double wishbone setup making it awesome handling and 100% perfect for all championships even means I can go and do time attack if I so wish without doing any mods
Yes green missile it has the shafts removed and a special mut and big shaft to hold the bearing together
Geomasters will give you the lock, but to get the most out of that lock ideally you're going to need our front lower arms to extend the track a little, our Geomaster tension rods for clearance, and the offset rack spacers will help with over centring on full lock, and also solve the problem of the track rods not being long enough.
Any progress on these I am dying to see the finished product! While I am here actually can I ask if the rear geomaster hubs alter the rear camber sweep?
Yeah I forgot to post that picture here . It's of the version 2 prototype we just finished, and started fitting to the DWR32 today. They fit, and don't require silly spacers. I just need to test the car, then hopefully I can sign off on the design and put them into production.
Clearance is good, 17" should be fine, maybe even 16". Still all needs testing though. *I've also have customers with 15" on the 200sx ones, just depends on what you're willing to modify.
Oooh nice. These and the power that Greg seems to be getting from my car is making me think I should keep the 32 for a bit.
Hopefully very soon. The second prototype version we've been testing is spot on. I'm just awaiting final costs and a lead time.
