Unfortionatly no there is not as toyota do not mark any of there gearboxes as far as i know, why not is anyones guess
but if you are looking for ways to spot an r154 i can tell you that they weigh about 45kg without oil, and take about 3 liters of oil
also the slave cylinder is within the bellhousing
what car is it coming out of??
Also measure the sandwich plate should be 9.5"

    A w58 is 35kg dry and a r154 is 45kg dry
the w58 is connected to its bell housing using 9 bolts and two dowles where as the r154 is connected to its bellhousing using 9bolts and 4 dowles they are both exactly the same lenght but an r154 is an inch or so wider and the input shaft is slightly longer than a w58

I could be totally wrong, but does the W58 not have 3 "ribs" along the top, and the R154 has 4? Something like that anyway...
